La Dolce Mavi University Project
La Dolce Mavi was a webdesign project that combines the spirit of La Dolce Vita with the Turkish word mavi (“blue”) – symbolizing the vibrant sea and serene atmosphere of the Turkish coast. The concept revolves around an adventure-focused holiday experience in Turkey, blending cultural richness with modern travel aesthetics.

Project Overview
I developed the entire website experience from scratch, including wireframes, UX design, and animations. Upon visiting the site, users are welcomed by immersive visuals of the Turkish seaside and can immediately choose their preferred journey: either a thrilling adventure or a relaxed chiller experience. Subtle Turkish design elements are thoughtfully integrated throughout the site, creating a culturally grounded yet contemporary visual identity.

In addition to the layout and animations, I also designed custom buttons that align with the aesthetic of the brand. These buttons not only guide users intuitively through the experience but also reflect the playful yet elegant character of the platform. Thoughtful micro-interactions and responsive feedback enhance the sense of immersion and bring the concept to life on screen.
Final Thoughts
La Dolce Mavi was not only a creative journey, but also a significant step forward in my growth as a designer. I truly enjoyed bringing the concept to life and crafting a digital experience that merges culture, storytelling, and usability.
Throughout the project, I deepened my understanding of how to build user-centered websites—from structuring wireframes to designing interactions and UI components. One of the main challenges I faced was working with variants in Figma, which required a lot of precision and experimentation. While the process was time-consuming, it was ultimately rewarding.
I’m proud to say the effort paid off: I completed the project with a score of 98 out of 100. This experience not only sharpened my design skills but also strengthened my confidence in handling complex design systems from start to finish.
